Reporting classes taken at University Extension?

When I applied for UCSD, I reported all the course work from my CC, the good and the bad grades. However, I realized I did not report 10 classes I took at UCSD Extension for a certificate program last year. I have received 7 A's, 1 A-, and 1 B+, so it is not going to hurt my overall GPA, in fact it improves it, but I hope this doesn't hurt my chances of getting accepted.

My housing message changed, and I was able to register for transfer admit day, but I still don't have the official decision. If and when that happens, should I contact the admissions office and let them know about the missing grades/courses? The school I am hoping to attend, UCSD, is the same where the extension is located, so I don't know if they are already aware of the classes taken. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks!

You should definitely let them know. I had taken UCLA extension classes a long time ago, and, even though they weren’t transferable, I was still told by an admissions person that I have to list of them on my application.

You should probably contact them before you hear your decision. Just call admissions, or email them.

Also, from what I understand, Extension is separate from Undergrad, so they might not know about those classes.

Thanks. I emailed them and also listed the course names, CRN’s, and grades. Hopefully this doesn’t screw things up for me. I didn’t think they counted at all towards college classes and my college gpa until someone said spmething over the weekend to me. Thanks again.

From what I understand, if they aren’t transferable, they won’t be factored into your GPA. It’s just for them to get a record of what your past academic experience has been. Hope you hear good news soon.
