During my UC app, I accidentally forgot to report the grades for my 10th grade classes. Instead, I reported my IGCSE exam scores because I misinterpreted the help section of the UC app. I thought it said that if I had IGCSE scores, that I only needed to report them and not the class grades. I recently realized that this was my mistake. I have gotten accepted at UCM, UCR, and UCSB, which accepted me on the basis of information. If I call to tell them now about this mistake, will they retract their offers of admission? All other information on my app was accurate and my grades have been maintained to a consistent standard. Please help....

bump…

Well, you need to contact them about the mistake. Since your grades are consistent, they probably won’t retract their offers of admission, as there won’t be much of a change in your application. However, by not informing them, you could risk being accused of lying on your application, which can result in expulsion if discovered.

If your school sent transcripts, then your grades will appear on the transcripts anyways.
