Reporting language skills on App?

Question on the App:

"Which languages other than English can you speak, read, or write?
(please indicate with S, R, or W)"

How fluently do they mean? Do you have to be a native (or similarly skilled) speaker, or do they mean good enough to get by (but by no means a native speaker)? Say you can read a story in the language and write a complex essay, but it would take you longer than in english (ie, not really up to the level of a native speaker)

I assume they do NOT mean the languages you've taken in high school (even for four years) and have only a rudimentary knowledge in.

Thank you!

Sorry to bump this up after… four months? But I’m still wondering! Thank you.

I’m assuming this is the Harvard supplement. I have taken five years of Spanish so I put “Spanish S R W (not fully fluent)”

S fluent, R fluent, W intermediate

or

S basic, R intermediate, W basic

could work too
