Reporting Multiple ACT Tests

The first time I took the ACT I received a 33 (Eng 35, Math 33, Read 26, Sci 36). I took it again and got a 35 (Eng 36, Math 35, Read 32, Sci 35). I improved in every section except for science, which is the area in which I will major in college. Is it worth reporting both tests to show that I got a 36 on science the first time, even though my super score is still a 35 and no better than the most recent composite score? It may also be worth noting that reporting both tests will mean “exposing” myself for the much lower 26 I got in reading the first time…

Just submit the second test unless the college requires all scores (only Georgetown, Yale, Cornell, Barnard, and Carnegie Mellon require all ACT scores if you submit ACT). You will save the money that would be needed to send both test scores since ACT charges separately for sending each test, and a 35 science is just as good as a 36 – the actual difference is that you got one answer wrong on the second test; I assure you that admissions personnel will not be sitting around saying, “We have to reject this applicant because he got one wrong on the science section of the ACT test.”
