Okay, I have 6 outside scholarships that I need to report to Berkeley. I'm assuming I do this through the Financial Aid Office Offer Letter. I click on Accept/Decline Awards, click continue, and then I see a whole list of scholarships, awards, fee waivers. I don't think any of these apply to me, so that just leaves me with the "other" where I fill in the scholarship. However, the space is limited and the names of my scholarships all get cut off (they fit just fine in the text field, but when I click continue they get cut off); will this be a problem?

Why dont you give the financial aid office a call first or something? I did one of my "governor's scholarship", they just sent them the money and it was on my financial aid within 2 weeks, I didnt have to manually report it, it just popped up.

I don't think it should be a problem; I had to do the same with about 4ish outside checks that were sent directly to berkeley FAO last year. I think the more important point is that you're inputting the correct amounts, even if the full name of the scholarship/check is cut off. Once the office receives the check in the corresponding amount, I'm sure they'll be smart enough to match them together...they were good last year at doing it.
