Reporting Problem with ACT scores

So I took my first ACT in February 2016 and got a 31 (34,27,32,31) composite but a 19 on the writing. I’m not a bad writer, I’ve been told this and have a 5 on AP Lang so I was confused. Later I saw that many others had had grading issues on this particular ACT but it was too late for a rescore. I have not retaken writing and have gotten a 35 (36,34,36,34) on my second ACT in October 2016 and a 34 on a mandatory ACT in March 2017 that I didn’t study for.
I am applying ED to Williams and they have all of my ACT scores from my transcript. How do I contact them to talk about this writing score? Should I just call? Can I put a note on my application somehow?

Also, should I report this writing score on my Common App ACT section as well?

I’d just leave it alone. Contacting them will look like you’re trying to make excuses for the writing score. If you’ve self-reported the AP Lang, they will see that you can write. And yes, I’d self-report the writing score from ACT if they have the score report already.
