<p>What would you do? </p>
<p>My son took the SAT (one and only time) and received a 2280 (800 Math, 740 Reading, 740 Writing, 10 Essay).</p>
<p>He took the ACT (one and only time) and received a 36 composite (8 Essay).</p>
<p>Which one would you report to colleges (he is applying to Harvard among others)? Just the ACT or both? I am surprised that he did relatively poorly on the Essay scores as he is a good writer.</p>
<p>He already sent in the ACT, but now I am thinking maybe he should have sent the SAT as well. He is a National Merit Semifinalist and that is reflected in his resume.</p>
