Reporting Scores

I was wondering if anyone can help me answer some questions. I took the SAT back in March and didn’t do well. I have taken the ACT twice and received a 29 and 34 respectively. I also took SAT subject tests that I wish to submit to Stanford. Do I have to include my abysmal SAT score on my common application and send it officially to Stanford? And, if so, do I have to rush my SAT score? Thanks!

this question has been asked so many times and been answered, and it is very clear on Stanford’s website that YES, you have to report your SAT score to Stanford as well as both ACT scores. You do have a choice about reporting your subject test scores though.

OK thanks does that also mean that I have to put my SAT on the Common Application for all other schools that do not require me to send in my SAT? Or can I just leave that part blank and only send in the Official Score Report for the SAT to the colleges that require it?

No, you do not need to put your SAT on your common app as long as you send in the official report

Great! Will having a bad SAT affect me that much if I have a 34 ACT to compensate with?

Nope! Don’t worry about it. Stanford states that they do consider the highest scores. They just want to see that all your scores to get a sense of your improvement / that you’re not taking the test a million times!

Sweet sounds good! Thank you all so much!
