Reporting Withdraw from H.S. (UC transfer)

Hey guys,

With the UC application deadline coming to close, I have a urgent question.

I have a “voluntary withdrawal” from my private high school during my junior year for helping my friend cheat on exam (I was literally begged).
My transcript simply says that I withdrawed from high school (not expelled), and Dean declared that he would not disclose any information about the incident.
Afterward, I transferred to public h.s. and graduated there.

Now, I am 2nd year C.C. student, have 4.0, looking to transfer to Berkeley or UCLA.
On the UC application, there is no place to even write about the incident except maybe the additional academic history section…
Should I report the withdraw from H.S.? Would they even care?
If I don’t, and they see that my most recent high school was from second semester junior year, would schools actually look into my past records to see what happened?

Thank you all!

Am I in the wrong thread?

UC’s will not look at your HS transcripts since they are not needed. What you have done at your CCC is more important.

So they won’t go and investigate about my high school incident?

to the top!

Like Gumbymom wrote, if you have two years of CC on your application, they are not going to look much at your HS record. You presumably graduated from that public HS, so on the application, if they ask about your HS degree, just write down where you got it.
