If you are counting on your home location as the main path to acceptance, you might want to cast a very wide net. There is much much more to the process, and there are no magic tickets.

Why are you asking this? It’s getting silly.

Some boarding schools list states represented in their admission materials. I’d look either in the view book or on the website.

I think that if you’re applying from almost anywhere in the Northeast, you’re “represented”.

I tend to agree with @GMC2918 . Geography, as a [quasi] hook, comes onto the mattering map more when you’re applying to PA, for instance, from someplace not in the NE…the further away the better. Schools like to have a wide pool of representation in their statistics but the NE is still the NE.
