This week, a representative from Princeton will be visiting my school and provide information concerning admission. Does Princeton send admission officers to many high schools to answer questions about admission, or just a few schools? Is the representative, who's coming to my school, most likely the one who's going to read my application? since she should be the one most familiar with my area.

Not all of the admission reps are readers so it really depends. The odds are that they will not be the one who reads your application. Having said that it wouldn't hurt to talk with the rep and ask about visiting Princeton for an overnight. If you are ED then I would try to visit in October. If RD in February.

The rep who came to our area was the one who read the apps. You can ask whether that is true in your case. Then go up to see her at the end of the talk; you can ask your questions and get an email to follow up with her if you need to.

A rep was going to come to my school awhile ago, but he never showed up. He ended up coming back two days later, but only to drop off some information (which I already had), and said he would call us all individualy. It has been two weeks, and I have no way to contact him. So, yeh despite me apparently going to a Princeton-friendly school (We sent four last year) they can do something liek that to you.

Last year I heard that some people got invited to a "private college fair" offered by Princeton (to the juniors in the top of their class). I hope that Pton comes to my school this year again. Its a pretty small public one though, so IDK.

Admissions officers do sweeps of a region in the fall, so if your school gets visited it doesn't mean much in terms of your chances. That said, the person who visits your school is generally the person who might read your app (usually theres more than one person per region though).
