<p>Too many frats to really say. You’ll figure it out fast after a few weeks on campus. Rush isn’t until spring anyway, so you dont worry about joining a “bad” frat before you know better.</p>
<p>There are about 30 different franternaties on campus, thats all i know.</p>
<p>there are over 30 frats, i couldnt begin to name them all, and theres probably a place for everyone somewhere in greek life. here are my generalizations of the frats. there are exceptions to EVERY “stereotype” i’ll put down here, and these are just come to mind:</p>
<p>beta: fratty
st a’s: waspy
phi delt: waspy
theos: rich, jewish (not technically a frat)
tep: smokes alot (not cigarettes), jewish
aepi: long island, jewish
oz and owls: rich, exclusive (not technically frats)
zetes: very wealthy, donald trumps old frats, good alcohol and late nights, international, exclusive
castle: very international, also rich
pi kapp: fratty, not as “bro” feeling as beta, fairly diverse
zbt: jewish, trying to re-establish on campus
skulls: nice, average guys
pike: a little weird but fine
sigma nu: nerdy but nice
phi psi: nerdy
kapp sig: bro-y, makes me think southern but i’m not sure if they actually are
sigma chi: some atheletes i believe, don’t know them too well
fiji: first year back on campus, so they aren’t the stereotypical fratty types</p>
<p>thats just what i’ve seen, others may have had different experiences with different frats.</p>

<p>how do you get noticed by a frat like castle that’s exclusive/invite only for like rushing</p>
<p>theres nothing you can actively do–just be from a rich zip code, go to a well-known prep school, or be friends with the guys in it. Alot of those “exclusive” ones dirty rush, meaning they have rush events in the fall even though they aren’t supposed to. dirty rush is invite-only.</p>
