Do you want an objective measure of subjective criteria?

Perplexitudinous-- That is just mincing words.

okilydokily, for everyone here who was any self-respect, I suggest we stop feeding the troll. (You are entertaining him by squandering your valuable time... surely there are better things to do.)

It was fun while it lasted though.

Ben Golub-- Nice attitude. I guess your college would be proud to have you as a student. Your grammar is terrible by the way.

MIT2010-- Yes, that's my boy. That is the answer I was expecting from you. Was it so difficult to provide reasons for your actions? Objectively maybe? Took you very long to figure out. You really didn't have to argue at all. Now since you don't want to continue this discussion with me ("don't argue"), I guess I will discuess your response and the data you provided with others. :(

Haha, I have a feeling this thread will be locked up very soon. :p

And don't diss Ben; he's among the more helpful posters on CC (and FYI, he picked Caltech over Harvard).

CautiousPessimism-- Nice to know. That was the most useful information you provided.

To provide any more, I feel, would be to acknowledge this thread for anything more than the joke that it is.

CautiousPessimism-- As you have so eloquently put it, must be true.
Q.E.D. ;)
I just hope your attitude is not representative of your college.

After getting some complaints about this thread I have had to edit out some inappropriate remarks. Please remember to make any comments you have on the topic and not about other people. Thank you.

Moderator Amistad

complaints from harvardguy smurfs! this is a travesty of the system!

I love hugs. do yoU?

Count me in, but I'd rather be fishing ;)

I used to like hugs, but now I'm not sure whether they're prestigious.

PSHT all this focus on prestige. It's all about whether or not your perceived reputation in the eyes of the general public can be concretely improved by partaking in them. Basically, you should find out what a tenured academic thinks of hugs.

(^Ben's comment: best post ever) :P

hugs > harvard

Definitely. lol.

Harvard is definitely much much better school than MIT

snails >> mdx49

hugs > snails

this thread is so... amusing =P
