Now that you've been telling everyone where you are going, what have people told you about your school?

Here's what i've gotten so far, feel free to add on...

Beautiful Campus

Can't be beat for business

One of the top Music Schools

Big 10

Bobby Knight (people don't realize he's been gone for nearly 5 years)

Crappy football team

Definitely a party school

Good swim teams

Very nice facilities

Well, being from the West Coast, we don't meet many people who are familiar with IU. When we tell people where our son is going, the usual comment we get is,"Why there?" A few have heard of the music or business school, but most don't know much about it. I can't blame them. I didn't know much about it until a couple of years ago.

From NY...saw my relatives tonight and all of them said..."wow why are you going to Indiana? so far..and why there?" but of course my cousins who are around my age and older know about IN and why its good...party school and good business.

Elders can be ignorant at times especially ones who aren't from America.

Don't forget--good basketball program. Kelvin Sampson, the new coach, should do a good job this year--despite the recruiting restrictions he is under. Unfortunately, Ohio State had the best recruiting of any school in the country and Illinois will be strong again next year.

Also, the other thing I hear about Indiana--especially from recruiters--is students with good values, good ethics and hard-working. This means a lot to the top companies.
