What is Cornell's reputation in Government, International Affairs, etc.? I am assuming it's Cornell's less focused on area. Am I wrong?

Cornell is strong in those areas. Take a look especially at Cornell in Washington program and Cornell in Florence program. Peter Katzenstein is a leading international government scholar and Mario Einaudi, a former professor for whom a center at Cornell is named, was the author of Italy's constitution. There is a great deal of strength in the government program, and complementary depth in history department.

According to USNWR, graduate program in international government is in top 15 in country, ahead of Penn, Brown, Georgetown, Johns Hopkins and Rice, among others.

Wow. Thanks for the info!
