I finally got my housing information, and turns out that I'm in Forest, Southeast neighborhood. I requested Central Honors, and obviously didn't get it, so they stuck me in Southeast. I must have forgotten to put Central regular after Central honors on my housing application (my bad...), but I was wondering if anyone knows who to contact to try and change my housing location (I'm a Kelley DA, so walking almost a mile in Indiana winters to class every day doesn't sound appealing).

Contact the housing office ,and do it soon because IU Bloomington never has enough room for incoming students so they fill quick. P.S. Kelly is only .85 miles from Forest, and very close by bike. Good luck!!

Last summer I contacted the housing department around July 10th and requested a non-themed dorm, they said they might be able to get me into a dorm but said there was no chance that I would be able to choose the neighborhood. Good news is I ended up in a dorm in the central neighborhood.

Ok, I’m actually heading to orientation tomorrow, so I’ll try to contact the housing department while down there. I’d take anything in Central honestly, I’d just like to be a little closer to everything (and everyone I know is in either central or northwest, so it’d be more convenient to see a familiar face). Thanks for the responses guys!
