A couple days ago, I got an e-mail from Harvard asking for another teacher recommendation in addition to the two I've already sent them. After asking around school, it seems like I'm the only applicant who received this e-mail. Did anybody else get this? The e-mail wants "more light shed on the work and impact that you have had on-campus." Can I safely assume this is a good sign?

I wouldn’t take it as a good or bad sign. The most likely scenario is that your original two teacher recommendations did not go into enough detail, so try to find a third teacher who knows you well and will write a recommendation like those on MIT’s website: [Writing Recommendations | MIT Admissions](How to write good letters of recommendation | MIT Admissions)
