<p>I would like to request information regarding the transferring system of israel bagrut\school report card to an American GPA.
Although I have read that some colleges do not request this transformation, I would like to know my chances.
After an online examination I have found that a grade of 85-94 in israel is equal to 4.0.
However, some people have told me that only a grade of 95-100 is considered equal to a 4.0 GPA.
I would be very grateful if you could shed light on the matter.
If not general conversion,I am interested in the coversion of Harvard, Wharton, Stanford and Princeton.
Thanks in advance!</p>
<p>help anyone?</p>
<p>I cannot vouch for its accuracy, but I found the following via a quick google search: [GPA</a> Calculator](<a href=“http://www.foreigncredits.com/Resources/GPA-Calculator/Israel]GPA”>GPA Calculator)</p>
<p>There is no single standard for GPA in the US and colleges often do their own recalculation so you don’t need to be worried. Harvard, Wharton, Stanford and Princeton all have plenty of experience with students from Israel and they will know how to evaluate your record. Good luck!</p>
<p>thank you for your comment!
yet I want to know that in order to estimate how much effort to invest in school, if i only need 85–94 i could simply spend more time on the SAT and the essay(95+ in Israel is very very challenging).
I have already found the source you are referring to, yet heard different people state different things and wanted to know for sure.
If you cannot vouch for the information, i would be very glad and grateful if you could tell me a name of a member that you believe can.</p>

<p>Get in touch with them. They are the experts on admission to colleges and universities. I used to work with one of their offices in South America, and if the people in your country are half as good as that team, you will be in good hands.</p>
<p>Definitely follow happymomof1’s advice, but for the four colleges you listed you will need to be among the best applicants from Israel. So if 95+ is the top 2-3%, then that is where you need to be. If 95+ is only the top 0.01%, then perhaps you can afford to be in the 85-94 range.</p>
