request...

when scheduling an interview, do you think it is okay to request the dean of admissions?

I think that if you did that you may be seen as having a sense of entitlement. Any particular reason why you want the dean of admissions?

yeah...that's what i thought too lol. well my mom has "questions to ask the dean" idk weirdd...

actually, the other admission counselors are insightful and can probably answer any important question that your mom has. for example, at andover i had a regular admission counselor for an interviewer and she was very informative and answered every question and concern we had...

Yeah, I'm sure that the regular admissions officers would have most of the same information as the dean.

I would not recommend it: it kind of sets you up as a demanding student who needs special treatment, which is not the first impression you want to make. Generally any of the admissions officers can answer all of your questions (or direct them to the appropriate person) and their evaluations and recommendations count equally when decisions are made.

Yeah...I wouldn't do that.
