<p>I am interested in requesting a roommate. I was wondering how I would go about doing this. I read on the website that you need to indicate their name and email address. What email address do you use and what happens if they have not received their SBU email address yet?</p>
<p>Also, how does the dorming situation work? I was under the impression that in previous years the dorms are divided by the different majors. Does this still hold true for this year?</p>
<p>You have to use the e-mail that they have used for everything whilst applying.</p>
<p>The dorms aren't divided by majors, but by interests. You rank the different undergrad colleges (1. arts, cultures, humanities 2. Science and Society 3. Global Studies 4. Human Development 5. Information and Technological Studies 6. Leadership and Service) from 1 to 5 based on how interested you are in them. Then you can be placed in your top choice if it's not already full.</p>
<p>And, by the way, I don't believe anyone has received their email addresses yet.</p>
