<p>Why is your rank so (relatively-for-Ivy) low with such a great GPA?</p>

<p>Because my school has around some 40 people with 4.0's? It's not uncommon - the class of 2006 has 30 valedictorians.</p>

<p>By the way, my school doesn't use pluses or minuses (that would account for the high number of valedictorians).</p>

<p>A great GPA but lower rank shows that perhaps your school has a high rate of inflation. However, all in all you have solid stats and I'm sure you'll get into several of the schools on your list.</p>
