Requesting Pictures

i was wondering if any of you guys had any good pictures of the ann arbor campus. i've never been to the mid-west in my life and probably won't be able to visit until orientation, so i just wanted to see what it was like. all i know is that it's COLD.. hehe.

thanks!

The various U webpages have some good images. You might also enjoy perusing the images on file online at U-M Photographic Services.

I'm having trouble with their image files today, but even on their homepage you can see a lot of images that rotate through.

Just keep in mind the university tends to have pictures from when it's bright and happy and sunny and...none of the students are there.

Argh. I see to my annoyance that they no longer have loads of images for you to browse (as they used to for diploma frames) unless you register. Sorry about the bum steer.

hoedown, if you follow your link to Stock Photo Gallery you can select Buildings and pull down "Central Campus", "North Campus", etc. and then click on Show Preview for each photo (yes, there is a watermark on each photo).

Not working? How about this site:

or

which hopefully leads to this video:

Some great pics, but the peculiar architectural mix seems even more pronounced when you seem one building placed next to another than it does walking campus. From great Gothic to modern mess.
