<p>Okay so I have a question that is bugging me, if I got into a college but sent in my appeal for it, how do I go about requesting a roommate? The housing application is due pretty soon, but it said I won't know the decision of my appeal for about two weeks after it's due:/ Can I request one after/if the appeal goes through or do you have to do it before the housing application is due?</p>
<p>Do it before. It might increase your chances of the appeal going through, in fact. 
I think they’d be more inclined to transfer your affiliation if you have a desired roommate already.</p>
<p>oh okay so say that i got into stevenson and the girl i want to room with got into college 8, then would i still put her down on my housing app even though shes in a diff college? and im appealing for college 8 by the way sorry if i have made it confusing!</p>
<p>Yes, put her down. I’ve had friends who did this. Requested roommates from a different college while appealing, I mean. It works out.</p>
