I'm currently a senior and I'm taking the SAT on Nov 5. Submissions are opening for UCs on November first and I'm not sure if I should just submit my application on that day or wait until my SAT score comes in 3 weeks after the 5th (I'm very paranoid). How can I request to send in my scores late?

Better to send in application before sending Nov scores so you do not blow application deadline. Applications are due by Nov 30. Test scores can arrive after that date, UCs actually take the December tests and basically they want test score in theirs hands by about mid-Jan.

So I can definitely submit my application without my SAT scores for now?

Yes, your test scores can be sent after you apply. Also be aware that you need to send scores to only one of the UCs to which you are applying and all others get score from that one.

I was worried about the same thing since i’m taking the test this saturday too. Collegeboard shows the dates for when the scores will be arriving, and they said they would arrive by the 24th of November. I’m just going to submit my application by the 26th. If you feel more confident sending the scores along with your application then do the same, but if you rather just send your application first then your SAT’s then go for it. Its all about what YOU want to do with those two options. (:

Good luck!
