I'm holding a 3.4 GPA. The University I'm looking at studying at says, 3.3 GPA required. I've seen a required GPA for several different study abroad programs. Does that mean I'll get accepted? I'm not familiar with study abroad admissions.

No, it means that to be considered, your GPA must be about a 3.3, except in very special circumstances, as my International Ed. office tells us.

My fault, it doesn’t say required. Instead, it says preferred.

I would say that you need at least a 3.3.
