Hi, I am new to this forum and so thankful for all the info here. I am very interested in applying to Michigan and amazed by the quality of their mt students on youtube. I would like to add it to my list of schools to apply to but I do not have the required sat score of 1100 and have not taken the ACT yet. I will taking the sat again soon and the act, but I am wondering if anyone ever was able to land an audition with an sat score lower than 1100 for verbal and math. My gpa is good at 4.1 so I am okay there. Also I see on the unified site that michigan is part of unifieds but on the michigan site it says it will be in New York on 3/5 not on unified dates of 2/5 and 2/6.

I can’t answer your SAT question, but about unifieds-- it’s my understanding that UMich does go, but only for their BFA in Theatre, not MT. Someone correct me if I’m wrong here.

What are the exact ACT/SAT requirements… i didn’t see anything online… I took the ACT, does anyone know what the minimum numbers are??

Thanks so much wb4. Now it makes sense they just go to unifieds for theatre/drama and mt has an audition in New York on 3/5. The minimums are listed at this link: [UM School of Music, Theatre & Dance - Prospective Students](http://www.music.umich.edu/prospective_students/admissions/ug/app_proc/acad_prep.htm)
