So, I got accepted into Cal Poly Pomona for Business Administration w/ Emphasis in C.I.S and on my CSUMentor I said I was planning to take four courses in the Spring but I only got into three. How much will this affect my admission? I inquired about this problem with the Admissions Office and they informed me that it’s up to the discretion of the people who check the transcripts. Has anyone have this happen to them and still got in? The class I couldn’t get into was a Required Support Class. (Yes, I think the obvious answer is that I’m completely ■■■■■■).
In case you were wondering I didn’t send in my transcripts because it wasn’t an impacted major, so they didn’t ask for it. I have to send in my final official transcript at the end of Spring 2015 and once I do they’ll notice that I’m missing one of the Required Support Classes that I said I would take and revoke my admission. (So again, I think I’m pretty fucked unless someone has comforting news).
I’m in the same situation.(I’m even a CIS major too yay:D). I need just one more class but I can’t take it until summer session. But I heard that as long as we have our golden four and IGETC we should be ok. Just try your best to get good grades this semester. Good luck:)
