cross posted :)

Thx everyone = )

Ohhh, another question.

If i'm going to major in engineering; say Civil Engineering(Req. 183 units) Would it be even POSSIBLE to minor in a foreign language??

Do you have any AP units or community college units?

I have:
AP Comp Sci A(which will cover 4 units in major)
AP Stats
AP Macroeconomics
AP Photo
Pyschology at CC
PreCalc at CC
Calc 1 at CC
Philosophy at CC.

Yep yep

geez wolffman lol...makes me wish i took more CC classes :

You should be able to fit in a minor since you have so many credits going in. Be sure to bring your AP scores and a CC transcript to advising so you can discuss this further with an advisor.

I actually find that the classes at my Community College are much more fun to go to (Especially Psych & Phil)

2 classes a semester this year at CC, way better than those obnoxious kids in high school always interrupting class!!!(Yes... even my AP classes are like hell)

You sound like my son. He took three CC classes and loved them way more than anything at his high school, including AP.

@Wolffman: Lol especially if you have a nice CC, right?

High School is overrated! And likewise, CC's are underrated To Be Honest!

If i had known about it earlier, I would have just got a GED in 10th grade, and proceeded to go to CC for 2 years, and transfer to whatever school I want! Cheaper and faster!! hehe

But thats ok, Davis is where I want to go!

The reason I ask about the minor is because I really want to learn Japanese, and travel there for at least a quarter during my college career = D

@EdibleEgg: Yes yes! Moorpark I believe is ranked as one of the best CC's in California!!! Very lucky we are!! haha

I'm not sure which of your CC units are transferable. If they are all transferable and taken on a semester basis they will be worth even more units at UCD since it is quarters. AP and CC units are not transfered to UCD until after your first quarter there, but you may very well be a sophomore already at that point. You will have great benefits when registering for classes if you are.

I forgot to mention that I also took Music Appreciation at Moorpark last summer lol = P

I've calculated that when I graduate High School I will have 32 Semester Units, All transferable to UC's(According to the course listing for each one)

i'm also thinking about taking Creative Writing and Speech during the summer, but I havn't decided yet...

Semester units will be worth more at UC.

Yeah, They say that 60 units is equal to 90, so I have about 48 quarter units!

Hmm, anyone advise on taking CC classes the summer before fall quarter?
I was too lazy to take Physics in high school, so i may take that up xD
