Requirements for Environmental Law

I read online but not too sure on the credibility (it was wikipedia) of this statement...

Wikipedia says that I would need a degree in Environmental Engineering and a Law Degree to become an Environmental Lawyer...is this true? I couldn't find this information on any other website.

Also, if it is true, does the degree in Environmental Engineering have to be a B.S. Degree or can it be a Masters Degree instead?

Please help =/

Well, you usually do need a law degree to be a lawyer. However, it is not true that an environmental engineering degree is needed to be a lawyer who specializes in environmental law; in fact, most such lawyers have no enginineering or even science undergrad degree.
