As i was recently informed that i was selected to study the IB in another country come this August, i was curious if people out there could provide me some with some information on what are the required IB and SAT scores that is expected of an applicant to be even considered for admission into Princeton. By the way, just out of curiosity, i studied chinese for many years and maintained a solid B and occasional A's( its really difficult to attain an A, some chinese scholars have a hard time too) all along for my secondary education, but when the national examinations came along, i wrote out of point big time and as a result failed. How much would it affect my chances if i were to apply?

No IB’s are required, they are only used for placement I believe.

The SAT range is prob like 1400-1500 and 2100-2300

oh…by the way, if you studied in a foreign country for 11 and 12th grade and decide to apply to the US, would you be classified as a candidate from your home country or the host country in which you studied?

candidate from your home country, unless you have residency in the host country you studied. IB score… 40+ I would say gives you a great chance at Princeton.
