Requirements for transfer to University of Virginia

hey guys... I was wondering what the requirements were for an out of state transfer (california) would be? I checked the site and all it said was " a b average." I am sure it is more competative than that. What are the unit requirements and all that! Thanks a lot

I applied out of state from Cali to the McIntire (Commerce School) from a community college, and was accepted. Here are my stats:

GPA: 3.73
Age: 17
SAT: 1470
EC's: Student Government, Honor Society, Clubs, Newspaper, Volunteering, TA for economics, and other projects
Work experience: Not much; Executive Assistant for 6 months
Units to be completed after the summer semester: 121.5

Completed all but one required class for McIntire, but I will complete that class over the summer

do you need to complete all requirements prior spring before fall admission?

9 hours math/natural sciences/physical sciences
3 hours english comp
3 hours non-american lit
3 hours non-western perspective
3 hours religous studies/philosophy
3 hours history
6 hours social sciences(government, sociology, psychology, etc.)
Intermediate proficiency in foreign language (4 semesters)

I THINK these are the right numbers for second years...first years should have most (by no means all) the requirements completed...either most of these or many towards your major....go to UVa admissions page and browse the links on the transfer site....they have a credit evaluator and requirements for the various schools

For McIntire, you need to complete all the required courses before Fall, since it is an upper division program. I am not sure about the other programs.
