Requirements of Pre-medicine?

Hey guys,

People say that you need to fulfill the pre-med requirements. I know that consists of 1 year bio, 1 year general chem, 1 year organic chem, 1 year phys, 1 year calc, and plus english. But I want to know- especially for the science courses, what is the SYLLABI for the courses. Perhaps someone can give me a link or something to what table of contents, textbooks, are covered in your school for the premed reqs. I would really appreciate your help.

Umm... course makeup depends on your school. We can't send you syllabi unless we know what university you want to attend.

Any other thoughts?

I don't get what you want. Are you asking for the specific names of courses for certain schools?

I was asking in general, I guess, a "table of contents" of what you cover in premed. I was hoping you may have a link relating to this info. I guess particularly with the General Bio, what exactly is included in that 1 year req of General Bio? I hope I have clarified my question..

thx

Go to any college book store and look at the table of contents for the introductory Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Organic Chemistry text books. There is nothing special about “pre-med” requirements. In many universities you can take more advanced versions of introductory science classes. For example, you can take the same Introductory Physics class at the Physics and Engineering majors or you can take a dumified version that does not use Calculus. Both would satisfy the pre med requirements, but you would look smarter if you took the harder class and got a good grade
