Requirements Taken After Application

I'm entering my junior year and haven't taken any required science classes yet, but I plan to take chem, bio, and phys next semester as my only 3 classes. I'm also considering going abroad spring semester, so I won't be able to take any classes then.

About how many of the required classes can be taken after the application has been submitted? Is it possible for me to apply to medical schools (and get accepted) having not taken a majority of the requirements yet (bio 2, chem 2, phys 2, org 1&2)? Assume I have a good MCAT score.

No, I’d recommend no more than two classes, e.g. Physics I and Physics II or Biology II and Physics II.

Well, assuming that you can get a high MCAT score, which you probably couldn’t obtain easily, it will still hurt you because they look very heavily at those courses. Theoretically, you are allowed to apply so long as you finish the classes before you matriculate the following year.
