Requirements to get in for certain majors?

I'm looking to apply for management at ASU and saw that they have specific requirements needed to apply for it along with a few other business majors.

The requirements are:

1160 on the SAT (math/cr), or 25 on the ACT, or top 8% in your class.

So say if I get a 1160 or higher on the SAT does that mean i'll be accepted without a doubt since these requirements are much tougher than the regular requirements for ASU, or will it depend on the other applicants for this major?

bumppppppp

Unless it specifically states that admission is absolute for students who meet those requirements, it typically means that you must have at least those requirements to be considered for admissions. If you are close to those requirements, some colleges will send your application to a commission for review.

There are some schools that use a kind of sliding scale of GPA and SAT test scores. If you are above it you are in, but it changes as the year goes on and they become filled.
