Any info about the Dorm called Winston Hall with a room housing 7-8 girls?

It's not on the list for freshman housing...Perhaps you mean Walker?

winston hall is not a dorm at princeton

My mistake. Obviously I am the mom and not well informed. I mean Wilson College. She is in an 8 person suite. How many of those are in Wilson? Can you find a floor plan online anywhere?
tx

Look right on this page down below - simba posted the link to see dorm rooms.

momatlarge what's her room number? Is she in 221 Dodge Osborn Hall by any chance??? Because that's where I am and it looks like a large suite

ur in 221? is that directly above 111? cuz phil and a good friend of mine are in 111.

I guess it is!

111 Dodge Osborn was my freshman room! You will love it - 4 bedrooms, private bath, huge common room and a "private" back yard. It's also known as the "SUBZOO" because it is located one floor below 121 DO the "ZOO."
See this article for info about the "big" suites on campus:
http://www.princeton.edu/~spectatr/vol5/02-08-00/p2.html

Princeton, being Princeton, does not number its dorm rooms the way the rest of the world does. The first digit in the room number refers to the entry number, the second digit to the floor and the final digit is the actual room number. So ... 111 Dodge Osborn is accessed from the first entry door of Dodge Osborn, and is room #1 on the first floor.

Thanks for the info!

Her number is 1938 Hall rm # 221

Suites are fun and often have huge common rooms. Just keep in mind that the students in suites have to clean their own bathrooms. Or live with them dirty. ;)

hahaha i saw 111 DO just yesterday. that common room is ENORMOUS. the maintenance staff was like, that's the party dorm, they gotta tear up the floors every summer, cuz of the stains.

aparent5 - aheh you know us too well.

Why am I not surprised that philntex is in the subzoo. Perhaps the housing people have been lurking here....

Whoa, aquetong! That's awesome! Did you enjoy living in such a huge suite your freshman year? I've been hoping to get in contact with someone who lived in 111, haha. Thanks for the info :D

And haha, alumother, they must have. We're definitely going to keep its rich history of social entertainment alive, although it'll be of a slightly different variety this year ;)

EDIT: WHOA! Just read the article. A backyard?! Gawd, I love Princeton. So much. bliss

What variety phil? Any dancing? Please advise so I can point Aludaughter your way if so.

My sophomore year I was in Foulke. We were in the quad up high that actually had a balcony. We had two parties so big they flowed down the stairs and into other people's rooms. I am surprised no one fell off.

I am more than happy to pass that duty on!
