Rescheduling an interview...rude?

So I've been just contacted for an alumni interview. He gave me three days that he has set aside next week (Mon, Tues, Wed) and asked when am I free.

The problem is I have exams everyday starting Tuesday stretching until the Thursday the week after. (Yay for 2 exams per subject!)

Will it be rude if I ask for an interview after my exams? (The 28th and onwards) Or should I just bite the bullet and go to the interview the day before the exam? It takes about an hour to commute one way to his office by public transportation; so I'll lose the majority of the evening because of the interview.

I would tell him your situation. Ask to see if he can do it later, but state that you are still interested in having the interview during your exams if he can’t reschedule it. If he can’t reschedule it, just study earlier!

It wouldn’t be rude. It’d be rude of him not to be more abiding by your needs. Plus, his deadline is still far off. Make the switch

Agreed. Tell him you’re in finals and ask for a later date.

Thanks for the help guys. Couldn’t get a later date so I sprang for an earlier one (this Friday). Should make things easier to time manage anyway!

hahahahaha damn it, i read this as rescheduling an interview… nude. hahahahaha
