I know it’s really late notice, but I ended up getting bronchitis and it’s really effecting my asthma. The problem is that my interview is tomorrow morning and I seem unable to go five minutes without having a coughing fit. Would this be an okay reason to ask to reschedule at such a short notice??
Yes.
rule #1. Your needs outweigh others’. Take care of yourself. Plus, the interviewer doesn’t want you 1) not at your best and 2) exposing him/her to your illness.
Reschedule. Not even a doubt about it.
