Rescind acceptance due to withdrawal?? please help!

I got accepted but I need to withdraw from my current semester. Will UT rescind my acceptance after I send my updated transcript? I would think they shouldn't, because my GPA that got my accepted is still intact.

I will certainly call them tomorrow during business hours, but I was wondering what you guys think.

depends… you better have a good reason for that withdrawl.

xtra is right. That’s why they require final transcripts to be sent.

Lol, I think I need to make a “chances of staying accepted” thread soon.

It can be a serious situation when a person goes to summer orientation and registers for classes and then finds out he’s been “rejected.”

I do wonder how they handle withdrawals though, as people may need to withdraw for many reasons. I guess I’ll figure this out tomorrow morning from the admissions department.

Thanks for the responses!

Update:

A person from the admissions office says it’s okay as long as there are no F’s.

That is good rp1242

what do you mean by withdraw? drop classes? drop out of high school? just looking for some clarification because i’m a little worried about staying accepted as well lol.

he means like leaving that HS i think

@wonderdoodle

I was talking about withdrawing from university. I applied as a transfer student.
