Rescind admission HELP

Hi so im a second semester senior and my grade dropped since junior yr (i had 6as and 1b) and im scaredd that i might get rescinded my admission to nyu so my grades rn
C ap gov

A ta
C brit lit
Would they rescind my admission please help

What does NYU’s admission letter say about how well you need to do in previously reported in-progress course work?

To be honest, I doubt it. C’s usually don’t equal a rescinded admission, but if you’re really worried I would call admissions.

However, dropping from a 3.86 GPA to a 2.60 GPA is not going to look good when the college sees the final transcript.

Is it too late for you to get them up to a B? I don’t think C’s will rescind you but it’s still risky.

Talk to your GC and/or NYU about this and see what they have to say about your situation.

just curious, would multiple Cs like in the case above be seen with equal “nonchalance” by the admissions office at HYPSM?

^^ No, they would not be “nonchalant” about it at all.

Why didn’t you care?

Don’t think HYPSM would be nonchalant about multiple Cs, @ggwpafk823. Same goes for NYU, @Hellogkssk, not so much a rescinding of offer but quite possibly a required explanation and/or probation.

wold 2 Cs be the absolute limit? or 1 C? or are they all grounds for a revocation? (specifically mit)
again, im only curious, and can gladly say i myself am not in so dire a situation…

sorry OP for hijacking

@ggwpafk823

I think 3 C’s OR 1 D and 1 C (depends on the course obviously) would be on the lines of getting rescinded/ a explanation needed. Anything worse than above would be an automatic revoked admission.

But this is just my opinion and should be taking with a grain of salt.
