I think you’re fine.
The worst I’ve heard is Columbia sending a friend an email asking for an explanation for her grades (which slipped from As to very low Bs,) but that’s just because it’s Columbia. She explained that her classes were difficult and was fine.

Relax. It’s senioritis. As long as you don’t get Fs you’re gonna be fine! Just put your seatbelt on, since the ride at UMD will be
really something, leave senioritis behind when entering the school.

While I agree that the three c’s will not trigger your admission to be rescinded, I just want to point out that the year is not over. If there is any way to pull them up to b’s it would be good to try to do so. Are they just semester grades or expected final grades? Semester grades won’t show up on a transcript, only the cumulative semester grade.

In the event you want to apply for internships or special programs during freshman year, they may review your high school transcript since you essentially won’t have a college transcript yet. So, don’t sink too far into the abyss of senioritis if you can help it. You won’t regret trying to bring those grades up, but you may really regret not even trying to bring them up.
