Rescind Admission?

Hi!

I wanted to see if anyone could provide me me with some insight on how/what Davis rescinds admissions for? I ask because I’m getting a C in my AP Biology class, and possibly three B’s in regular classes, and this semester would be the lowest my GPA has ever been.

On my “Conditions of Admissions” page it says this:

  1. Maintain Academic Performance:

You must maintain the same academic performance upon which your admission was based and complete ALL courses listed on your admission application for your final term with grades of “C” or better. You must also graduate from high school.

So I wanted to know, will Davis rescind my admission because I’m, “not maintaining the same academic performance upon which my admission was based?” I’ve had majority A’s my entire high school career with only 3 B’s ever just from last year and the beginning of this year, so I’m concerned that they could rescind because of my academic performance this semester.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

Don’t get any Ds or Fs and don’t get arrested and as a general rule, you’ll be fine.

For UCD, although it states you need to maintain the same level of academic performance, the rule of thumb is you need to pass all Senior a-g courses with a C or higher, maintain a 3.0 weighted GPA and no D’s or F’s. You should be fine but remember you will need to step up your game as a College Freshman and hit the ground running once you start on UCD’s quarter system.
