rescind admissions?

I'm really worried because I got an F in AP Calculus this past quarter. None of my other grades dropped, they were all A's and a couple B's, and for this quarter I should have an A in Calc. There's no chance of me failing the course for the year or even for the semester really, and I'm still going to graduate with honors, but my friend told me that colleges will rescind for less. Am I just being paranoid? If not, any suggestions on what to do?

Call Admissions and speak with the counselor for your area. Address it sooner, rather than later.

as long as you weren’t accepted on a math scholarship, i can’t imagine this would be too big a deal. relax and enjoy your final semester of high school!

Only your end of the semester grades will be reported. They will never know you got an F third quarter. If you get an A last quarter then it averages out to a C for the semester. That is what will show up on your transcript and that will not get you rescinded.
