Rescind Policy

Hey guys I just got admitted into UW for Pre Health Science!!
SO I was wondering what is like the "minimum gpa" i should have to not get rescinded.
I got a 3.0 1st semester senior year and i am planing to do the same.
SO i was wondering is a 3.0 fine???

An admission person from uw came to my school and one of the students asked about their rescind policy. From what I was told, as long as you pass your classes you should be good. But you should continue to pursue a 3.0 or shoot for something better

Stay away from getting D’s and F’s and you should be fine.

At the minimum, pass your classes. If you want to be smart about things, make sure that you do well on the AP exams. Don’t let those opportunities go! I know someone that got a D/F or two, and all he received was a letter telling him to be ready to work hard when autumn started.

so basically they wouldn’t rescind you even if you had a 2.7 as long as you had A’s, B’s, and C’s with no D’s or F’s?

Pretty much. However, if you get all C’s, they might send you a warning letter to get your act together freshman year. I’m not sure what that letter looks like and/or if that’s a probationary warning, though. I’ve just heard of people getting that.

thanks. second question, if you a few C’s, but they were in classes like AP Chemistry and Anatomy and Physiology, would they take that into account? because i actually did try my best in those classes and came up short.

They’re not going to rescind you, simple as that. Just try your best, and you’ll be fine.

Hahah sorry. I tend to freak out about things.

As do I on many occasions. Just celebrate the fact that you’re in ;)

Maybe we’ll see each other around campus.

Hi everyone, I recieved a D in the fall of 2012. Will my acceptance be revoked when I send in my transcripts?
