I applied to NYU regular decision this fall and under my first semester of senior year i got an F in a class. Fortunately they accepted me! The only thing I'm worried about is this year I think I will get a D/F in one of my classes. My overall average for the four years is a low A even with the failing grade. Last semester and this semester combined I had 12 A's, 2 B's, and 2 F's. I talked to the admissions and they said that it might be a problem, but as long as I'm doing well in my other classes and have not committed a felony/cannot graduate I should not have a problem. Because it isnt a black and white answer on whether or not I should be worried, I was wondering if any of you could give me some advice!!

If they accepted you with an F, you should be fine. I’ve seen older CC posts where people failed and still didn’t get rescinded. As long as that class isn’t required for graduation, you should be fine.
