I was admitted ED and my grades have not dropped significantly, however I am somewhat curious as to what one must do to their grades have their admittance revoked. Would one C in an AP calculus course be enough? Or when they say “you have to fail a class”, is that more accurate?

if you got a C you would probably have to write an essay explaining what happened.

Or write on the chalkboard 500 times: i will not slack off in Caclulus AP.

LOL

C’mon beaut – that’s nuts.

charters: avoid the Ds and Fs. Watch the GPA and no felonies. Then you’re golden.

One of my grades (before an A-) dropped to a B- in my second semester of senior year, and Brown didn’t contact me or anything.

Thanks for the input guys. I currently am in fine standing in Calculus, but it’s always in the back of my head. I like to assume that Brown would probably only question somebody if grades dropped in upwards of 3 classes

@T26E4, idk my class dean said that if your grades slack of a lot. the school would want an explanation before they make their final decision. he probably said that so kids would keep up their grades

@beaut
Yes it’s true. In the event that school contacts you about grade drops, you would have to go about explaining the grade drops.

T26e4

The “write an explanation” thing does happen. I don’t know if brown would do it but the concept exists: <a href=“HuffPost - Breaking News, U.S. and World News | HuffPost”>HuffPost - Breaking News, U.S. and World News | HuffPost;

Hmmmmm… I stand humbly corrected. Someone pass me the chalk!
