Rescind?

How likely is it that my admission to Princeton is rescind? I'm really worried. Thanks

1st Semester
A A A B B C (toughest courseload possible)

2nd Semester
B B B B C D (same courses)

I'd like to know also, could past Princeton students talk about rescind problems they may have encountered? I'm currently getting destroyed by one of my college classes I have to take outside of school (Differential Equations) >_< Does Princeton want to see my transcript from my college classes also? I am taking 6 AP/IB classes at school in addition to my 3 college classes at a nearby university (the college classes are not listed on my high school transcript).

hallowarts- im in the same situation, my grades have plummeted. I'm getting really worried.

the more immediate question at hand would be...(at least for me) do they see 3rd quarter grades? are you guys already almost done with school? because if they don't at least i have 4th quarter to try to raise them...

ya ur all screwed..if u get anything below an A

^I doubt you're screwed if you don't get anything below an A, haha

Well, hallowarts, the class I would DEFINITELY be worried about is that D... Do your best to at least get that up to a C....

Other than that, I would say to just do your best and try to get the grades up. Try talking to somebody in Admissions or something at Princeton, they would probably be the most knowledgeable about your situation, and can tell you what you need to do to not get your offer of admission rescinded.

Honestly, I'd be very worried about the D. Work hard on it. The C is not too pretty either, and you really should maintain A's and B's throughout. But if your past record has included a C or two, they might see beyond it. If this is your first one, I'd be careful.

Don't worry about it too much, rescinded acceptances are rare and more likely to stem from disciplinary problems than academics. What is more likely is that you will start out on academic probation. You really wouldn't want that either so you really should work on getting those grades up.

Thanks everyone for replying

I'm wondering, do your final year high school grades count for anything in Princeton besides possible rescinding? Does it put any opportunity of advanced standing, or getting into higher level classes, or ANYTHING that has to do with getting into a more advanced program at risk?

ah man im in a similar predicament. went from straight a's to A, B, B, B, B. It looks worse for me though because my sport season is done and I only have 5 classes (AP's) instead of the usual 6 that the average senior takes (not necessarily AP but six classes nonetheless).

You're not going to get rescinded for getting B's...

would they see 3rd or 4th marking period quarter grades or just the final averaged final grade?

how did you even get in princeton with a C first semester?

how does Princeton rescind people, through email or by letter?

… yeah. i basically had about 1 or 2 B’s all of my HS career and I MIGHT MIGHT get one C (and rest A’s) this last semester… im kind of really worried T T

**how did you even get in princeton with a C first semester? **

Haven’t you ever see Hallowarts Hall at Princeton?

Everyone knows the acceptance rate, but what is the RESCINDING RATE for princeton?

cool story bro.

So… what’s the deal with Princeton and rescinding admission?
