Do you think a D in an AP class will get me rescinded? All of my other grades are Cs, and 1 B as of right now.

In general, what were your grades like that were submitted with your application? In other words, are these grades a huge departure from how you presented yourself to IU?

And is there a good reason for the C's and D?

i got accepted with a 3.5 unweighted GPA and a 3.65 weighted GPA.

no reason for the low grades

First off, I know this going to sound harsh, but after skating through this year, you know you screwed up or you wouldn't be asking the question.

Basically, you went from mainly A's and B's to C's and a D your senior year. You have to admit, that's not going to look very impressive to IU admissions.

I have no idea how strict they are regarding this kind of situation, but if I were you, I would have a letter of appeal ready to go just in case they do rescind your admission. I would also be thinking about a backup plan in case IU doesn't work out.

Are your parents aware of your predicament? Is there any way you can get some of these grades up in the next few weeks?

I got straight C's for my ap classes and no rescind 2 years ago. I doubt a D will get you rescinded.
