When would you want to worry about a rescinded acceptance? Like, first semester I had straight Bs and 2 As. If I went down to Cs and Bs, would I still be fine? I understand that rescintion would probably be more for serious drops, but...I dunno, I'm paranoid.

Don't stress about it, you should be fine! They know students tend to be a little more relaxed at the end on their senior years. Just graduate and they'll be happy.

Unless you lied in your application, failed miserably in your last semester or some other extreme situation, don't worry.

man u honestly just put a smile on my face..on my 4th quarter and second semester exam i will have two F's for declining to take two AP tests, prompting my dismissal from those classes. mcgill admissions is gonna **** itself once it sees my transcript. im pretty sure everything will be fine..right??

you got an f just because you didn't want to take the AP? that's crazy. even if mcgill does see your grades and make a fuss, i'm sure that if you explain that the fs were just because your ap classes are ridiculous it will be okay.

i think you just need to be able to graduate in the end! i know american schools just care about that AND that you must not commit a felony

Why did you decline the tests? It's not too late...they have makeup dates.

mcgill doesnt offer credit for u.s. govt/politics and my stats teacher covered three chapters in three quarters..

So, you declined because you felt the school inadequately prepared you?

That's not bad...though I would actually try to fight it ,rather than just taking the F. If you fight the F, get the entire situation documented, McGill will probably be impressed at your maturity. Or something.

If I drop a course that's not a prerequisite (Senior Computer Science, I hate it) and not in my top 6 courses when it's fallen to a 75, would McGill and universities in general care at all when reviewing my final marks/transcript?

I don't think so, but thought there was no harm in asking.

were u already accepted?

I was accepted yes.

then you should be fine-

i asked the admissions people if they ever revoke offers, and all they said was that you have to have a high enough average to graduate and you're set.

so that means you can say "screw calculus" and still go to mcgill. just as long as you pass, lol, so i'm not complaining.
