Rescinded Admissions?

<p>Thanks for reading, ill keep it short:</p>

<p>I was accepted to a highly-ranked public uni as a rising Junior from a CC.
Early in the spring I became very sick (in and and of hospital for a month) and dropped my 6 classes (not withdraw).
My common app stated I would complete these courses and graduate from CC this spring. Unfortunately, with my unusual circumstances, this is no longer the case. </p>

<p>Do you think the uni would allow me to finish up my degree this summer if I send in frequent grade updates and such ?
Would it make a difference if I made efforts to take summer session at the prospective uni?
Is it possible to ask to be a sophomore after being admitted as a junior?
Have any of you cc'ers experienced a situation like this?</p>

<p>This is my dream school and will make any effort to keep my acceptance.</p>

<p>Any advice is GREATLY appreciated!</p>

<p>Why didn’t you contact the school as soon as you dropped the courses and explain your medical situation? </p>

<p>Only the school can answer your questions with any reliability/relevance, call them tomorrow.</p>

<p>Thanks for the post. It totally slipped my mind until I received my admissions letter that I put those courses in my common app. I will call them up tomorrow. I am hopeful that they will understand. </p>
