Ok, I am a senior and I am planning to go to UC Berkeley.

As part of my provisional admission, i must maintained an unweighted 3.0 This comes out to straight B's in all AP classes.

In addition, I CANNOT have any D's or F's

Well, I have found myself in a bit of a bad situtation. I slacked off a bit and my grade in history is a 70%, which is a C-. (This is my quarter grade, which does not count)

Now for a guy who always has had a 5.0 weighted GPA, i messed up badly.

Chances are, I will have a C or better for the semester, BUT WHAT IF some freak accident occurs and I get the D.

It says I must notify them mimediately and explain the situation.

What do you think will happen to me? Do you think I will be unable to go to Berkely? What do I do then if that happens?

I'm worried so much, Thank you

please anything?

You have time, work with your teacher, see what you can do, do you have any As to balance the C...so in addition to bringing up that C, see if you can bring up a B to an A in another class....

Any extra credit, big projects, and how did you slack off...main thing is to reazlise the mistake and move on...you can do it

i have 2 A's so I got the C covered.

I am scared of it falling lower.

No homeworks to add easy points. No extra credit. Only tests and quizes left.
I know i am worrying too much, but i just don't want a D.

Thanks for the response

i'm sure you'll be fine, especially considering your good record (5.0), one drop second half of senior year should not hurt as long as it is only one, and it isn't an F

Just chill out wheelman and keep your nose to the grindstone.

Quit fooling around, fire up, get it done, and GO BEARS!

yah thanks

imma get to work now

i just dont want a D

get a tutor, anybody, and realize sacrificing a bit of fun now, will mean 4 years of a great school

get a study partner, study in different ways, take notes, meet with the teacher and do whatever it takes plus more

if you try you can at least keep the C, if not even pulling it up

You are obviously smart and hardworking. Stop slacking. You have the ability. You can pull that grade up and you know how. So just do it. This class should be your #1 priority for the next couple of weeks.
